Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

Don't waste your time or money here. We ordered a pink champagne cake for a party, and not a single person liked it. It tasted nothing like pink champagne cake, instead, it had an overpowering bubble gum flavor and was so incredibly sweet that our $70 cake ended up in the trash. When we went to pick it up, my fiancΓ© ordered a coffee and asked about the flavor options. The red-haired employee who helped him was rude and made him feel like he was asking a stupid question, which was completely unnecessary. Unfortunately, between the disappointing cake and the poor customer service, we won't be returning. I wish I had read the other reviews before giving this place a chance.

Since there's only one Sweet Surrender, you have to get there as soon as they open because after 2 p.m., there's not a lot to choose from. Too bad there's not a second Sweet Surrender in the North west area.. I love the merchandise but over priced and unfortunately their clothes are for skinny people, S, M, L..maybe a few of XL, but nothing for plus size. Too bad because the clothes are so pretty and unique. We still love their cookies and cupcakes and also give them as gifts, too.

I was recommended this place by a coworker for my anniversary cake. I ordered the cake on Friday and set up pickup on Sunday. Over the phone, I asked for a red velvet cake, three frosted brownies, and 3 lemon bars. The the lady over the phone asked if I wanted writing on the cake but she didn't tell me it would be an extra $3.00 later on I found out when I got my receipt. I came on Sunday with my partner to pick up our order. We arrived and we're impressed with the amount of items in the boutique, walked around then went to the pickup counter. The lady at the pickup counter was on the phone taking in an order while my partner and I were waiting. We overheard the conversation from the lady working at Sweet Surrender asking questions about a smash cake. The lady working at Sweet Surrender ended the call then started talking with her coworker making fun of the customer asking questions about the smash cake. It made me think... Did they make fun of me when I asked questions while placing my order? We went home to eat the cake and other items we got. The frosting on the brownies tasted overly sweet and exactly like cheap frosting from the jar. It ruined the brownie. The brownie was goo

I purchased a slice of German chocolate cake which is my favorite and it was a small piece for $9. I think Iβm going to start baking my own cake because $9 is ridiculous. For the purchase of two slices at $18, I can purchase all of the ingredients. The only issue is my family doesnβt like coconut and Iβll have to eat majority of the cake myself. It seems every other visit the prices increase.
